FBI- 2023 Director’s Community Leadership Award
The Charlotte Division honors Beloved Haven, which provides support and services to women affected by human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or trauma, or who are vulnerable to trafficking, in the communities they serve. Beloved Haven worked with other organizations to develop a multi-disciplinary team to help trafficking survivors. Beloved Haven has shown an unwavering devotion to helping these victims in a region where many believe human trafficking only happens in other places. Accepting on behalf of the organization is Tina Pennington.
